Assessing Levels

On the first day of the English elective, we assess the level of each camper to ensure they are placed in the correct class. This is done through the following:

• One to one conversation with one of our English teachers
• Short written exercise
• Group activity
• Information on how many years the camper has been learning English (provided by parents pre-summer)

We ensure campers of similar abilities are placed in the same class. Sometimes campers can move class based on how they are doing during the session
