#5 Make Best Friends from Around the World

Creating and developing friendships is a critical part of The Teen Leadership Challenge. We believe that creating connections with different people is vital for development, confidence and wellbeing. People feel happiest when they are connected to others and we work hard to ensure everyone is included and feel part of our community.

The Teen Leadership Challenge is a truly international summer camp. Young People come from the UK and all around the world to create friendships and connections that will last a lifetime.

Staff are trained to facilitate friendships and ensure everyone is meeting new people from different countries. We also limit the number of young people from each country to 20% (excluding native English speakers).
